Privacy policy
Effective November 2, 2026.
This policy explains what information the Board collects, how we use it and who receives it.
Who we are
BoardFive runs the Board at boardfive.com. The Board connects callers who work as independent contractors with lenders that buy leads and order calling. This policy covers the site and the apps behind it. Write to market@boardfive.com with any question about it.
What we collect from callers
You give us this information when you sign up and use the Board:
- Name, email address, mobile number and the state where you live.
- Results from identity checks. Stripe runs the check on your government ID and tells us whether you passed. We do not keep the ID image.
- Payout details. Stripe collects your tax form and bank account. We store a reference to your Stripe account and your payout history.
- Training results, quiz scores and notes you write on leads and prospects.
- Practice and test calls. We record the audio, make a transcript and score the call.
- Calls and emails you make through the Board. We record calls and keep the email text.
- Voicemail left on lines we assign to you, including the audio, the caller's number and whether and when you listened and responded.
- Sign-in times, presence status and activity in the app.
What we collect from lenders
Lenders give us a company name, staff names and email addresses, a company address, phone lines, calling instructions and lead lists. We also keep purchase, credit and billing records.
Information about business owners and other leads
The Board holds contact details for business owners, loan officers, real estate agents and investors. Callers research and add these records. Lenders upload them. We also load lists from public sources. A record can hold a name, phone number, email address, company, city and notes on past contact.
A lender that buys or holds a lead receives its contact details. We honor do-not-contact requests. Email market@boardfive.com to ask us to remove or correct a record that names you.
Lists that lenders upload
A lender can upload a CSV of LLC records for matching. Each row can hold an LLC name, registered agent, owner names, address, phone number, email address, formation date and file number, plus any other column in the file. We keep the file's rows under the lender's account for as long as the account is open.
We compare each row with the records the Board holds, including earlier lists that other lenders uploaded. The match report tells the lender what we hold as yes or no and as counts. It does not show our phone numbers, emails or owner names. The lender sees contact details in the report only when they came from its own file.
When a lender asks callers to work a row, we add it as a lead in that lender's pipeline. A row with no phone or email goes to our research team, who add an owner and a contact. Email market@boardfive.com to ask us to remove a record that names you.
Introductions between lenders and borrowers
A lender can ask the Board to introduce it to a lead before it buys. The lender writes a message in its account. We email it to the lead from an address at mail.boardfive.com. The lead replies to that address and the reply returns to the lender's account.
Before a purchase, the lender sees no name, phone number or email address. We block phone numbers, email addresses, links and social handles in messages from the lender, and we remove them from replies the lender reads. We store every message, including blocked ones. Platform staff and the caller who supplied the lead can read the full text. When the lender buys the lead, it receives the contact details and the thread continues.
A lead can end the messages by replying STOP. We then mark the record do not contact. We compare the contacts a lender adds on its own with leads it wrote to through the Board, so we can find lenders who skip the purchase. Staff review each match. We take no automatic action.
Loan applications
A lender can publish an online loan application on its Board page. The form is for business-purpose commercial loans. It is not a loan offer. When you apply, you give us:
- Your name, email address, optional phone number and optional company name.
- The property address, purchase price, renovation budget, value after renovation, loan amount, loan type and timeline.
- The value estimate shown on the form. It comes from a property data provider and is an estimate, not an appraisal.
- Answers and documents the lender asks for. These can include ID, entity papers, bank statements, insurance papers and a self-reported credit score range.
- Your consent to the lender's credit check. Ticking the box records permission. No credit check runs when you submit.
- A hashed form of your network address, used to limit spam.
The form does not ask for a Social Security number or a full credit report. Do not upload either one.
The lender you apply to reads your application and documents. The Board stores them on the lender's behalf and shows them only to that lender's signed-in staff and to platform staff who support the service. If a caller's link brought you to the form, the lender may tell that caller you applied so the caller receives credit. The caller does not see your answers. Uploaded files sit in private storage. We email you a private link so you can save and resume. Anyone with that link can open your application, so keep it private.
Email market@boardfive.com to ask us to delete an application. The lender may keep its own copy under its own policy and legal duties.
How we use information
- To run accounts, sign you in and send the emails that keep the service working.
- To route calls, log activity and pay bounties.
- To train and score callers, and to let a lender review the practice calls of callers who ask to join its roster.
- To review calls, voicemail and email for quality and rule compliance, and to warn you when a message goes unanswered past the response limit.
- To prevent fraud and enforce our terms.
- To meet legal duties.
Text messages
The Board sends no text messages. Sign-in links and notices arrive by email.
Who receives information
We use service providers to run the Board. Each one handles data for that purpose:
- Vercel hosts the site and a database provider stores the records.
- Fly.io runs the practice call engine.
- Stripe handles identity checks, payouts and card payments.
- Signal House carries calls.
- Resend and Hostinger deliver email.
- Anthropic, ElevenLabs and Deepgram process practice call audio and text so the AI business owner can talk and the call can be scored.
Lenders receive the lead details they hold and the calls and emails logged on those leads. A lender that considers you for its roster can read your practice transcript and score and play the recording. We also share information when the law requires it, to protect people from harm, and in a sale or transfer of the business.
Cookies
We set a sign-in cookie so you stay signed in. Platform staff who switch between lender and worker views get a second cookie that remembers the choice. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account records while your account is open and for as long as tax, accounting or dispute rules require. We keep recordings and transcripts as long as they serve quality review, compliance or a dispute, then delete them.
Security
We encrypt traffic to the site, keep recordings in private storage and limit who can open records. No system is free of risk, so choose a sign-in email that only you can read.
Your choices
Email market@boardfive.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We answer within 45 days. Some records stay where the law or a lender's dispute needs them.
Residents of some states have added rights over personal information, such as knowing what we hold and asking us to delete it. Use the same email address to make a request.
Children
The Board is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We post changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change affects how we use your information, we also email account holders.
